    Pure Wildlife Kruger Itinerary

    Day 1

You’ll be collected from Skukuza Airport inside Kruger National Park and driven back to your rustic Kruger accommodation, potentially seeing some magical wildlife along the way! Anything from Giraffe, Elephants, Hyena and Lion within your first 5 minutes! From here you can relax after your long journey, eat some grub from the beautiful Skukuza restaurant that overlooks the river. You may see Hippo, Crocodile, Elephants and even the elusive Cape Clawless Otter here!! With a well stocked shop on site, it's a great opportunity to get some breakfast items or snacks in preparation for the days ahead but also it's a great opportunity to browse the fantastic selection of souvenirs.

Then it's time to settle in for the night because tomorrow it all kicks off!

    Day 2

Your first full day in South Africa! We’re up before the sun at around 5:30am to get out of the rest camp as the gates open at 6am. At 6am, it's like being in an F1 grid, waiting for the guard to open the gate with everyone else... it's lights out and away we go! or in our case, torches on and thermals ready to see some mad stuff!

Once out the gate, anything can happen so you need to have your seeing eyes on and ready to alert us of anything special. We'll more than likely come across Elephant, Giraffe, Zebra, Wildebeest, Buffalo and more within our first few hours on this African adventure. Next we take a short tea/coffee break between 8-9am at a lovely rest stop before jumping straight back in to it.

As the sun is at it's highest and the animals take to shade, we will also do the same from somewhere between 11am-1pm, depending on the day.

This is a great time to grab some lunch, browse the shops and relax.

After our lunch break, we’re back out on the search for incredible animals and as the sun starts to set a bit later on, this becomes prime time for magical sightings + you're going to see the best sunset you've ever seen!

We need to be back inside the rest camp by 5:30pm for Kruger curfew.

The evening is then yours! Grab yourself some dinner from one of the restaurants, chill out or you can even join one of the famous Kruger night drives - this comes highly recommended at £15 per person for the added chance at seeing Kruger's rarer animals like Pangolin, Aardvark, Caracal and Serval

    Day 3-10

Let's do it all again! So we're up for a mad sunrise at 5:30am, to then be out of the gates at 6am and tracking down wildlife. A Tea/Coffee break between

8-9am followed by lunch somewhere between 11am-1pm. More beautiful settings and wildlife wonders before heading back for 5:30pm.

Over the course of these days we’ll explore and stay at different rest camps that could offer up a whole host of different and interesting wildlife. The aim is to tick off as many of the African 'lists' as possible like the Big 5, Magnificent 7 and potentially the Secret 7!

If you're still gagging for more on this African adventure, the Kruger rest camps do host optional activities like guided bush walks and night drives which will give you a whole new perspective on what's around and really give you a taste of Africa. I can assist you with booking on to these trips and anything else you may need during your time.

    Day 11

1 final morning drive before packing away! This is your chance to say a final farewell to the animals you've fallen in love with! Some of which you probably didn't know existed until this trip. Say goodbye to the African bush and the best sunrise and sunsets you'll ever see as you'll be taken to the airport with 239882495 photos taken and even more memories created!

    (Don't forget souvenirs lol)

    Things to consider

    What IS included

    • Accommodation - All accommodation is covered on a 2 person sharing basis. The cosy Bungalows have 2 single beds with their own private bathroom - some even come with a BBQ (or Braai) There is a single supplement option available (please enquire)
    • Airport pick-up/drop-off - You'll be collected from the airport as you arrive and dropped back off once the tour is finished, no worries!
    • Transport - You will be driven all day, every day! This includes guiding on 9 full days of wildlife watching and the final morning before departure.
    • Tuition - Cookie and professional photograper Tom are on hand throughout the trip for any questions you may have around photography, editing and social media.
    • Very handsome man - Your host is very handsome, can't put a price on that x

    What IS NOT included

    • Flights - I can recommend which flights to get so there's no doubt in your mind
    • Food/Drink - Not included to bring the overall cost down. Rest camps have shops/restaurants where you can purchase food/drinks. On my last trip I ate at the restaurant twice a day and it came to £15 per day. You can expect to pay somewhere between £10-30 per day on food/drink per person.
    • Travel insurance - Please protect your belongings and any valuables.
    • Medical - Please consult your GP about travelling to Kruger and if you need vaccinations/jabs
    • Personal Expenditure - There are shops where you can buy souvenirs for your loved ones
    • Night Drives/Bush Walks - Do as many or as little night drives from the Kruger rest camps as you like. Roughly £15pp and can be booked on the day.
    • Wildcard - Conservation fees are a big expense to a trip like this (£275) but they haven't been included because of the 'Wildcard' - an annual subscription to SANParks for a single International traveller costs £175 instead which is what I recommend you get. I can assist with this.
    • Very ugly man - They don't exist on this tour x
